Anaesthetic Specialist, Rotorua Hospital, NZ
Ulrike was appointed to Rotorua Hospital in 2008 as Anaesthetic Specialist with an interest in Obstetric Anaesthesia, Trauma and Intensive Care Medicine. She graduated from the University of Lübeck, Germany; then moved to the UK for her post-graduate training at the Yorkshire Deanery, Leeds. She completed the Advanced Intensive Care Training in the UK (EDIC) and is currently Director of the Intensive Care Unit in Rotorua. She is passionate about striving for clinical excellence through Quality Improvement Projects and is currently clinical lead for VTE Prevention, ICU Outreach Service and Chair of the Medication Safety Committee.
