Sarah Rogers

Nurse Educator, Te Whatu Ora Waikato, NZ

Sarah qualified as a nurse in the UK working in a small gynae-oncology surgical unit in East Yorkshire and them moving into the general ICU. In 2011 she and her family moved to Aotearoa, New Zealand just after the rugby world cup finished, in an astonishing display of unfortunate timing. Sarah has worked in Waikato ICU ever since. After qualifying as an ICU nurse, she spent two years part-time as one of the Waikato ICU Research Nurses. She has been a Critical Care Nurse Educator for the last three years and now holds a post-graduate diploma. Sarah enjoys spending time with her two Jack Russell terriers and riding her motorbike around the beautiful Aotearoa countryside with her ‘gang’, the Latte Ladies.
