Dr Rob Bevan
ICU Specialist, Te Toka Tumai, Auckland, NZ
I am the current President of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand. Originally from the UK, I am dual trained in General and Intensive Care Medicine, but work full time in ICU in Auckland. I've been in NZ for almost 20 years, having trained in ICM in both NZ and Australia.
CICM - Working towards Equality and EquityCICM (the College) is the organisation accredited for training Intensive Care Specialists, setting standards in training and CPD in Australia and New Zealand. Whilst the College training program is highly regarded across the world, it needs to adapt to the changing needs of the communities that we serve. Equity, equality and wellbeing are at the heart of key initiatives currently being developed. I look forward to outlining how we are approaching these, and how you can help.
