Kiralee Schache

Clinical Psychologist, Middlemore Hospital, Auckland

I am a health psychologist and have been working in the Critical Care Complex at Middlemore for almost three years. I also work in the diabetes and renal services at Counties Manukau Health, and have worked in cancer services in the past. Additionally, I have been involved in multiple research projects with the University of Auckland, developing psychological wellbeing initiatives for teens and young adults, as well as psychological interventions for young people with diabetes. As part of my role in the Critical Care Complex, I am involved in providing psychological care to patients and their whānau as well as supporting our staff through education, quality projects and wellbeing initiatives.

Burnout...and Building on a Strong Foundation 

​This talk will cover an exploration of what burnout is, as well as some strategies that could be implemented to prevent and address this growing challenge.
